The Lairg Crofters Show is the last remaining Crofters’ show in mainland Britain.  Established in 1911, the show is held annually in the Showfield off Main Street in Lairg.

The 2023 show will be held on the 26^th of August. It will feature a horse show, dog show, sheep and cattle livestock classes, dog agility, highland dancing competition, industrial tent and various craft, trade and charity stalls and much more.

The Sutherland Schools Pipe Band and The Caledonian Pipe Band (Golspie) will lead the parade of our show Queen and her attendants, followed by our large vintage machinery display. The day is concluded with an evening dance to Blue Ridge in the local community centre.

This year the Lairg Crofters Show is delighted to announce our main attraction, ‘Riders of the Storm’.  They are a unique and exciting equestrian stunt team based in Perthshire, providing a variety of equestrian entertainment, showcasing a programme of stunts and tricks to thrill and amaze the audience.

They are also offering the opportunity for local equestrian enthusiasts to experience the excitement for themselves through lessons on trick riding and vaulting on Sunday afternoon following show day.
