The Lairg Crofters Show is the last remaining Crofters’ show in mainland Britain. Established in 1911, the show is held annually in the Showfield off Main Street in Lairg.
The 2024 show will be held on the 24th of August. It will feature a horse show, dog show, sheep and cattle livestock classes, dog agility, highland dancing competition, industrial tent and various craft, trade and charity stalls and much more.
The Sutherland Schools Pipe Band and The Caledonian Pipe Band (Golspie) will lead the parade of our show Queen and her attendants, followed by our large vintage machinery display.
This year the Lairg Crofters Show is delighted to announce our main attraction, ‘Mobile Bike Events’. They are the UK’s leading BMX stunt team, with their amazing portable ramps enabling them to perform breathtaking shows all over the UK and Europe.
They are also offering the opportunity for a BMX have-a-go session with ramps and obstacles for all abilities on the Sunday after show day. This will be available from the age of 2 years old to adults. More information on this will be available soon!
